How to Draw a Goat

Step 1: Begin by drawing a slightly irregular oval. This will form the goat’s head.
Step 2: Enclose an irregular shape to the right of the oval. This will form the goat’s body.
Step 3: Extend a curved line from each side of the head. Angle the line so that it doubles back on itself and encloses a rounded triangle shape. This outlines the goat’s ears.
Step 4: Draw the goat’s legs and feet. For each leg, extend two parallel curved lines downward from the body. Notice how the lines diverge slightly to outline the foot. Connect the lines on the bottom using two horizontal curved lines.
Step 5: Draw two curved, narrow triangular shape between the ears, forming the goat’s horns.
Step 6: Draw the ear using two curved lines, allowing the lines to meet in a point. This will form the goat’s beard. Using the same way to draw the goat’s tail.
Step 7: Erase the guidelines as necessary.
Step 8: Add facial features. Draw two circles for the eyes. Draw a smaller oval within each, and shade between the two. And sketch the mouth, like a rounded letter “T.”
Step 9: Detail the horns by drawing short, curved lines across them. Draw two curved lines around the neck, meeting at a point on one side and connected by a slightly curved line on the other. This forms the reindeer’s harness. Then add a small trapezoid at the bottom of the harness, indicating the bell.
Step 10: Erase the guideline from the neck.
