Step 1: Start by drawing the shape of a cactus close by.
Step 2: Add some small dots or short lines to indicate the cactus’ spines.
Step 3: Use some longer curves to depict the topography of the desert.
Step 4: Draw a second cactus farther away than the first one as shown.
Step 5: Draw a third cactus farther away than the second cactus as shown.
Step 6: Draw the farthest horizon and add a round sunset.
Step 7: Color this desert landscape picture.
