How to Draw a Zebra Finch
Zebra Finch bird is a small bird that is native to Australia. It is also one of the few birds that can be found in New Zealand. Here is a tutorial on how to draw a zebra finch bird step by step.

Start with the thick beak.
Sketch the crown and nape.
Draw the eye and ear patch.
Outline the bird’s body, the wing on the side of the body and the tail.
Draw feathers for the wing.
Draw some small circles on zebra finch’s belly and sketch the tail feathers.
Draw some U-shaped patters to the bird’s breast and draw the near thigh.
Add the legs as shown.
Use two lines for a branch.
Color Tips: Zebra Finches are mainly grey, with characteristic black ‘tear drop’ eye stripes and ‘zebra like’ black and white barring on the rump and upper tail. The throat and upper breast are pale grey, with fine black barring, and there is a broad black band on upper chest. The sides of the belly are chestnut with many white spots. The remainder of the belly and the undertail are white.
