How to Draw Waves
A wave is a long body of water curling into an arched form and breaking on the shore. With the following tips, you can draw some waves too. So sharpen that pencil, get out some paper and let’s get started.

First draw the rolled-up spray.
Bold the upper curved lines.
Enclose the spray with a straight line and a curve.
Sketch a number of parallel curves extending from the bottom of the drawn lining.
Draw some parallel curves for the rolled-up wave.
Add some parallel short curves to the wave to show the to highlight the momentum of the wave.
Draw some water drops.
Detail the wave with a lot of short parallel curves.
Color this wave.
