How to Draw a Snake
A snake is a long limbless reptile which has no eyelids, a short tail, and jaws that are capable of considerable extension. Some snakes have a venomous bite. This simple, step-by-step illustrated drawing guide is a good starting point for budding artists seeking instruction on drawing a snake.

First draw the snake’s eyes and eyelashes. (Please note that real snakes don’t have eyelashes.)
Draw the snake’s mouth and tongue.
Extend a winding curve from the right of the eye.
Draw another curve that’s basically parallel to the previous curve.
Then draw the wiggly tail.
Draw a long curve along the snake’s body.
Add some v-shaped patterns to the back of the snake to form the markings and scales.
Color this snake. We can make it a green one here.
