How to Draw a Rope
A rope is a group of yarns, plies, fibers or strands that are twisted or braided together into a larger and stronger form. Ropes have tensile strength and so can be used for dragging and lifting. This step by step tutorial shows how to draw a rope.

Draw a pair of parallel curved lines like an S shape.
Draw two more curved lines. These form the other segment of the rope.
Draw short, diagonal, parallel curved lines to indicate the twisted, multi-corded style.
Continue to draw the twisted, multi-corded style.
Draw the end of the rope.
The rope drawing is done.
