How to Draw a Reindeer
Reindeer, species of deer found in the Arctic tundra and adjacent boreal forests of Greenland, Scandinavia, Russia, Alaska, and Canada. There are two varieties: tundra reindeer and forest (or woodland) reindeer. In traditional festive legend, Santa Claus’s reindeer pull a sleigh through the night sky to help Santa Claus deliver gifts to children on Christmas Eve. This is a simple step-by-step guide to how to draw a reindeer. Let’s get started and create your masterpiece.

Step 1: Draw a tuft of hair on top of the head using a series of short curved lines, allowing the lines to connect in round points.
Step 2: Enclose a long curve to that tuft of hair, shaped a bit like a big peanut, forming the head of the reindeer.
Step 3: Draw a pair of cute eyes, one is open and one is closed.
Step 4: Sketch a slightly curved line under the eyes, separating the snout from the head. Draw a large oval black dot in the middle of the line, leaving a little space in the middle. Then use a curve to draw a big smiling mouth.
Step 5: To draw the ear, extend two long, curved lines from the head, allowing the lines to meet in a rounded point. Using a small shape to add detail within the ear. Then duplicate this to get the other ear.
Step 6: Draw a pair of antlers on the head.
Step 7: Extent two short parallel lines from the chin for the neck. Then draw a bell on the neck.
Step 8: Draw the body and limbs of the reindeer.
Step 9: Draw the tail using some short, curved lines that meet in upward points. You can decorate the reindeer with a lovely heart shape.
