Rose has long symbolized beauty and love, and is one of the most popular flowers on Valentine’s Day. The flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colors ranging from white through yellows and reds. Today we are going to learn how to draw a red rose.

Start by drawing an irregular enclosed shape.
Draw the small pedals inside.
Draw layered petals in circular shapes
Keep drawing the petals as shown.
Continue to draw the layered patals.
Draw the bulb and two vertical lines for the stem and then add some thorns.
Sketch a leaf to the right of the stem.
Draw the other leaf to the left of the stem.
Finish your drawing by adding some colors and your red rose is done.
