A pomegranate is a fruit with a hard outer skin and inside it contains many edible reddish seeds that are surrounded by sweet, juicy pulp. Let’s learn how to draw a simple pomegranate shape in some easy steps!

Start with the calyx using an M shape.
Draw three inverted V shapes connected to finish the calyx.
Outline the body with a big circle (with a gap).
Draw a few curved lines to show the ridges in the pomegranate skin, and add a highlight. Now the line drawing of a full pomegranate is done.
Now we are going to draw half a pomegranate. Draw three inverted V shapes connected to form the calyx.
Outline the body overlapped.
Inside the previous shape draw a smaller one to set the thickness of the skin.
Draw the membrane with two semicircle shapes (a part overlapped by the full pomegranate).
Add the juicy pulp. The pomegranate’s seeds are surrounded by sweet, juicy pulp.
