In classical mythology, a phoenix a unique bird that lived for five or six centuries in the Arabian desert, after this time burning itself on a funeral pyre and rising from the ashes with renewed youth to live through another cycle. This is an easy, step-by-step phoenix drawing lesson for kids and adult beginners.
Step-by-step Guide

Draw the phoenix’s head, crown and eyes.
Draw the wing on the left.
Draw the other wing on the right.
Extend a long curve from the bottom of the body, forming a shape of letter J, with two drops of water at the end, one inside the other.
Draw a series of zigzag curves around the J shaped curve to form a large feathered tail.
Start drawing another feathered tail in the same way.
Draw the zigzag curves.
Finish up the second feathered tail.
Color this phoenix.
