How to Draw an Onion
Onions are a bulbous vegetable that are commonly used in cooking. They have a round shape with layers of papery skin. To draw an onion, you’ll need to start by drawing the basic shape and then add in the details.

Draw a long curved line like a short wide U.
Draw a layer of papery skin on the right.
Draw a layer of papery skin on the left.
Add another layer of papery skin in the between the other two.
One more layer of papery skin on the left.
Add another layer of papery skin on the right.
Create the short stem.
Use some short lines for the roots.
Add some curved lines around the outer edge of the onion to create a realistic texture.
