How to Draw a Mangosteen
Mangosteen is a tropical fruit known for its round shape and deep purple color. It has a unique crown-like structure at the top and is often referred to as the “queen of fruits.” Now, let’s go through the step-by-step process of drawing a mangosteen:

Step 1: Draw a circle with a gap at the top to form the main body of the mangosteen.
Step 2: Add a small flower-like shape on top of the circle to represent the calyx (the leafy top part of the fruit). Then draw a small stem coming out from the top center of the calyx.
Step 3: Draw an oval shape to the right of the main circle to begin the section of the mangosteen that is cut open.
Step 4: Inside the oval, draw several smaller, overlapping ovals to represent the inner segments of the cut mangosteen.
Step 5: Draw a curved line around the small ovals to create the outer shell of the cut mangosteen, giving it a 3D look.
Step 6: Color the mangosteen with a dark purple hue for the outer shell, green for the calyx, and white for the inner segments. The outer part of the cut section can be colored with a gradient of purple and pink to indicate the thickness of the rind.
