How to Draw Lotus Roots
Lotus roots are the rhizomes of the lotus plant and are known for their unique appearance with multiple holes or air pockets. They are often used in Asian cuisine and have a distinctive texture and flavor. Now, let’s go through the step-by-step process of drawing lotus roots.

Step 1: Draw a circle to form the incision of the first lotus root segment.
Step 2: From the oval, draw a curved line extending to the right and then connect it back to the other side of the oval, forming a cylindrical shape.
Step 3: Inside the oval, draw five small circles arranged in a circular pattern. These represent the holes in the lotus root.
Step 4: Draw several V lines connected coming out from the right of the lotus root, serve as the joint of the lotus root sections.
Step 5: Start to draw the second lotus root segment with a U shape.
Step 6: Draw another oval shape to the left of the first cylinder. This will outline another segment of the lotus root.
Step 7: Draw two more cylindrical sections below the oval, stacking them vertically.
Step 8: Draw zigzag lines at the joints where the cylinders connect.
Color the drawing to complete your lotus roots.
