Draw a big circle not that regular on the left of your paper. This will be the the outline of the lotus leaf.
Draw a small circle in the center of the big one and draw four curved lines extending from it, spaced evenly apart.
Draw a small circle with two pointed ends (football shaped circle) for a outer petal of your lotus flower.
Add more outer petals with inverted U and V shaped lines.
Create the stem with a vertical curved line.
Draw the second leaf.
Add another leaf.
Draw another lotus flower and its stem under the first leaf.
Draw the some wavy lines to indicate ripples.
