First, draw a section of the nearby wall and the road on the wall.
Draw a watchtower with a door and two windows. Describe the battlements on the top of the tower with gear lines.
Extend a series of curves from the tower to form the second section of the wall.
Draw the second watchtower.
Draw the third section of the wall.
Draw the third tower at the far end.
Around the wall, draw the woods with shapes like clouds.
Add some patterns like plus and minus signs on the pavement and walls to highlight the details.
Colour the Great Wall and the wood.
