A fountain is a structure which squirts water into a basin to supply drinking water. It is also a structure that jets water into the air for a decorative or dramatic effect. Follow this simple guide and you can create your fountain quickly.

Draw a flat oval.
From either the left and right ends of the oval, extend a set of lines down.
Sketch two parallel curves under the oval to connect the left and right plumb lines.
Make a shape similar to the cognac balloon glass.
Sketch a plate shape for the water receiver/basin.
Draw the base of the water receiver/basin.
Sketch the splashing water upward above the flat oval.
Add more splashing water.
Color this fountain.
