How to Draw Disney Princess Mulan

Hua Mulan is the legendary heroine of ancient China, whose story comes from The Ballad of Mulan written during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. When her elderly father was called to war, she bravely took his place by disguising herself as a man. For twelve years she fought with remarkable skill and courage on the battlefield. After winning many battles, she humbly refused all honors and rewards, asking only to return home to her family. Mulan’s story beautifully combines filial devotion, heroic bravery and patriotic spirit, challenging traditional views of women’s roles in ancient society. Her legend has inspired people for centuries and became internationally famous through Disney’s animated adaptation. Now, let’s capture her heroic spirit through art – don’t forget to share your drawing when you’re done!
