How to Draw a Crab
In this drawing tutorial, you will learn to draw a crab using simple lines and shapes. Please note that true crabs have five pairs of legs, the first of which is modified into a pair of claws and is not used for locomotion.

Begin by drawing a big oval. This will form the crab’s body.
Draw two small circles above, one to the left of the oval, one to the right of the oval.
For each circle, draw a “V” shape line to make a claw. And connect each circle with the body, using two parallel curved lines.
Erase the guidelines from the small circles.
Draw three successively smaller circles within each other to form one of the crab’s eye. Shade the area around the smallest circle. Then draw the eye stalk. Connect each eye with the body, using two parallel curved lines. Repeat this process to make the other eye.
Draw the legs. Crabs have eight legs, four for each side.
Sketch some curved lines on the body.
Draw some short lines or small dots on the crab’s legs, indicating the short hair.
Erase the guidelines from the circle eyes.
Draw some small circles on the ground.
Color your crab.
