First draw the eyes and pupils of the hen. Perhaps leaving a tiny speck uncolored to indicate the shine of the eyes.
Draw the eyebrows and lower eyelashes below the eyes. Then draw the hen’s mouth.
Outline the hen’s head and draw a cockscomb on the top of the head.
Draw a wing of the hen.
Draw a scarf with some repeating patterns on its neck.
Draw an apron under the wings.
Sketch the hen’s body and tail with a series of curves.
Draw another wing on the back.
Draw the legs and feet under the body.
Color the hen. A beautiful cartoon hen is done.
