How to Draw the United States Capitol Building

Draw a rectangular shape with a longer bottom line.
Draw a series of horizontal and vertical lines inside the rectangle.
Draw a triangle in the middle of the figure, and sketch groups of parallel vertical lines below the triangle. Each set of parallel vertical lines will form a column.
Draw a horizontal line and three small tall narrow rectangles on each side of the middle section. These little rectangles are the windows.
Depict a cake or a hat shape at the top of the middle section.
Draw an arc parallel to the top curve, and then draw a series of vertical parallel vertical lines below.
Copy the last two steps and draw a smaller pattern on the top of the drawn content, and add a semicircle on the top of the pattern to form a dome.
Draw a shape similar to a short pipe on the dome and a semicircle at the top.
Draw the landscape on either side of the building.
Color this magnificent building.
